Physiotherapeutic Model of Return to High Performance Sports after the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Pandemic

Objective: To develop a literature review on sports return factors in high-performance athletes after the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic from a physiotherapeutic perspective.
Methodology: A literature review was carried out in databases such as pubmed, EBSCO, Medline, Proquest based on the following criteria DeCS Return To Sport, Return to play, COVID 19, Sports, Evaluation, Physical Therapy, year of publication 2019- 2021, English, Spanish and Portuguese language.
Conclusion: The sports world was altered in the training cycle during the pandemic (COVID 19), with which, there was a physical, functional, psychological, technical and tactical maladjustment. This has motivated the development of prevention strategies and specific training in order to increase the sports performance of athletes in general.
