Abstract

Aim: To verify the dynamics of internal workload against competitive calendar.

Methodology: 23 male football athletes with a chronological age between 18 and 20 years, belonging to a high level team (first division) from Brazil. Internal workloads biomarker (CRP, IL6, IL1-?, Testosterone and Cortisol) were collected during competitive periods with a 48hs rest between the matches.

Results: The present study verified that the CRP increased gradually after the three matches; however, the other variables remained after the initial increase. The others biomarkers demonstrating a initial increased after two matches and remained after the third match.

Conclusion: There was an increase in CRP during the three-game period, with all the variables studied demonstrating significant dynamics. To detect the Non-Functional Ovrereaching, more studies of the initial causes are necessary next to the athlete’s routine.
